Dr. Siva has done his PhD from University of Hyderabad under Dr. Susanta Mahapatra. Then he received Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship and  moved to Germany to work with Prof. Horst Koeppel at Heidelberg University. After that he worked at Nagoya University with Prof. Stephan Irle as CREST Post-doctoral fellow and later as ITbM Postdoctoral Fellow. Following a successful post-doctoral experience, Dr. Siva joined as Assistant Professor at School of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram in May 2015.
